Kuwait strongly condemns latest wave of Zionist attacks on Gaza

KUWAIT: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the deadly attacks carried out by the Zionist occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in hundreds of casualties, the majority of whom were children, women and the elderly. The Ministry described the military escalation as a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement and a continuation of the occupation’s systematic policy of targeting civilians and destroying infrastructure in Gaza.

In its statement, the Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s urgent call on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council and the parties to the ceasefire agreement, to take immediate and decisive action to halt Zionist aggression, protect the Palestinian people and prevent further violations that threaten regional peace and stability.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi has denounced the occupation forces’ attacks on Gaza, labeling them as a serious violation of the ceasefire truce. In a statement, Al-Budaiwi warned that the latest aggression, which claimed numerous lives and left hundreds injured, exacerbated the already dire humanitarian crisis in the Strip. He further condemned the attacks as a blatant breach of international laws, treaties and agreements, undermining ongoing efforts to restore stability and de-escalate tensions in the region.

Al-Budaiwi called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by exerting pressure on Zionists to cease its brutal assault. He reaffirmed the GCC’s steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people and underscored the urgency of reaching a just and comprehensive resolution that guarantees security and stability. He also stressed the importance of adherence to international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution based on the 1967 borders, establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Similarly, Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit condemned in the strongest terms the occupation’s airstrikes on Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds. In a statement, Abul-Gheit described the renewed bombardment as an inhumane act that defied international efforts aimed at maintaining the ceasefire. He urged the global community to take immediate action to halt aggression and push for renewed ceasefire negotiations, including discussions on prisoner exchanges and an end to hostilities. According to Gaza health authorities, at least 413 Palestinians were killed and hundreds more wounded in Zionist airstrikes launched early Tuesday. — KUNA

She added that this technique is commonly used to decorate bags, carpets, and clothing, as well as to produce distinctive art pieces.
