KUWAIT CITY, May 19: The Family Court granted a Kuwaiti woman a divorce from her husband due to the harm she suffered from him, along with custody of her children. The wife discovered her husband’s infidelity after noticing a change in his behavior. She found photographs and conversations on his phone that confirmed he was involved with other women. She then filed a case in the Family Court, seeking a divorce due to harm, while retaining all her financial rights and custody of the children. In his defense, the husband claimed he had other wives, but it was proven that he was only married to the woman in question. The court ruled in favor of the wife, based on the arguments presented by her legal counsel, Lawyer Mohammad Safar.
