Wanted Man & Visa Violators Busted in Ahmadi Raid

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3:  A major security crackdown across Kuwait’s Ahmadi Governorate has led to the arrest of 18 individuals on a range of charges, including expired visas, residency violations, and labor law offences. One suspect wanted in connection with a criminal case was also apprehended and is set to serve a four-year prison sentence.

The coordinated campaign, described by authorities as “qualitative,” was launched by the Ahmadi Security Directorate in cooperation with Kuwait Municipality. It was carried out under the direct supervision of Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, and Brigadier General Hussein Dashti, Director General of the Ahmadi Security Directorate.

Among those arrested were six individuals violating labor laws, four with expired residency permits, five reported absent from their employers, and three overstaying their visit visas. Additionally, 12 people were detained for failing to produce valid identification.

Security forces also seized a vehicle involved in a breach of trust case and a motorcycle. Eight mobile caravans and 11 abandoned vehicles were removed from the streets, while officers issued 200 traffic citations during the operation, which deployed 10 separate security units across the region.

Authorities stressed that security campaigns will continue in Ahmadi to clamp down on lawbreakers, reckless drivers, and anyone found violating residency or traffic regulations.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: Officers from the Hawally Security Directorate arrested a famous artist in Salmiya for the possession of narcotics, sex toys and alcohol, reports Al-Seyassah daily. A security source disclosed that, as per the instructions of the Head of the Public Security Sector in the Interior Ministry Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, the officers apprehended the famous artist who was referred to the Drug Control General Department (DCGD), along with the confiscated items. The source added that the officers also arrested another famous artist with a young woman, as they were found to be in an abnormal condition. The source confirmed that the arrests happened after the Hawally Security Directorate deployed security forces throughout the governorate, ensuring the enforcement of the law against everyone, as “no one is above the law.”

Kuwaiti Man Murders Mother in Saad Al-Abdullah

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 20: A shocking crime unfolded in the Saad Al-Abdullah area when a Kuwaiti citizen in his thirties brutally murdered his mother by slitting her throat with a knife inside their home.

According to the source, the victim’s daughter rushed her injured mother to the hospital immediately after the attack. Medical staff attempted to provide first aid, but doctors confirmed that the woman had already succumbed to her injuries.

Meanwhile, the assailant was apprehended by security personnel as he followed up on his mother’s transfer to the hospital. Investigators found the murder weapon, a blood-stained knife, in his possession at the time of his arrest.

The suspect was taken to the local police station for questioning, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation. Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind the crime, which has shocked the local community.

Kuwait Launches Modern Technology to Tackle Law Violators in Sabah Al-Salem

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 19: As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen security and enforce traffic discipline, the Ministry of Interior, under the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, carried out a large-scale security and traffic campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area.

The campaign was supervised by Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Major General Ali Misfer Al-Adwani, in the presence of Brigadier Anwar Ahmed Al-Yatama, Head of the Human Resources and Information Technology Sector. Several security directorates and the Traffic and Operations Sector took part, supported by advanced technologies provided by the Human Resources and IT Sector to help track down wanted individuals and law violators.

The operation resulted in the arrest of multiple offenders for violations related to residency, labor, and traffic laws. Authorities also issued a number of fines and initiated legal proceedings against those involved.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such campaigns will continue across various regions of Kuwait, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring road safety, upholding security, and enforcing the law equally on all without exception.
