DOHA: Kuwaiti Minister of Public Works Dr Noura Al-Mashaan met on Wednesday with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Qatar.

According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting, held in Doha, focused on reviewing the strong ties between the two countries and exploring avenues to enhance collaboration. The two officials also discussed several issues of mutual interest. — KUNA

KUWAIT: Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah commended Colonel Yousef Al-Shatti for his remarkable global achievement in setting a Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon completed while wearing full military gear, during a race held in Ovar, Portugal.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defense said that Sheikh Abdullah received Colonel Al-Shatti at his office on Wednesday morning to honor this distinguished accomplishment.

During the meeting, the minister reaffirmed his support for members of the Kuwait Armed Forces who participate in events that highlight the strength and stature of Kuwaiti sports. KUWAIT: A delegation from Keeta, a food delivery platform developed by Chinese tech company Meituan, paid a visit to Kuwait Times and Kuwait News on Tuesday, getting a glimpse into the local media scene.

The stopover, which included friendly conversations and a lighthearted studio game, was part of Keeta’s broader regional exploration as it prepares to enter the Kuwaiti market, following launches in Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.
