KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The General Fire Force carried out an inspection campaign on Wednesday evening in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area to identify buildings and facilities that failed to comply with safety and fire prevention regulations. The operation led to the issuance of multiple violations and the administrative closure of several facilities that did not meet the required safety standards set by the Fire Force.

KUWAIT CITY, May 29: In a bizarre incident, two intoxicated individuals stole a vehicle from a stable in the Mutlaa area, but ended up getting both the stolen car and their own vehicle stuck in the desert.

According to details, the stable’s guard informed the Ministry of Interior Operations that a four-wheel drive vehicle belonging to his sponsor had been stolen while he was asleep. A security source stated that the report was immediately circulated among Interior Ministry personnel. While investigators were combing the area, they found the stolen vehicle as the suspects were attempting to free it from the sand.

The source added that the two individuals appeared to be under the influence of drugs and were found in possession of narcotics. During questioning, they confessed that their own car had gotten stuck, prompting them to enter the stable and steal another vehicle to free it, only to get that one stuck as well. In a further twist, the suspects even contacted a rescue service to help recover the vehicles.

Assault and Robbery Near Al-Shaab Mosque Ends in Arrests

KUWAIT CITY, May 29: Hawally detectives have successfully closed an assault and robbery case following the arrest of three individuals involved in attacking a Kuwaiti citizen and stealing his belongings.

According to a security source, the investigation began when a 40-year-old Kuwaiti citizen filed a complaint at Al-Shaab Police Station. He reported that while he was at a mosque in the Al-Shaab area, three unknown individuals physically assaulted him and made off with his iPhone and a wallet containing KD 400.

Following the complaint, detectives launched an investigation and were able to identify the vehicle used in the crime through surveillance footage. With assistance from the General Traffic Department, authorities traced the vehicle’s owner, leading to the arrest of the suspects one by one. During interrogation, all three suspects confessed to the assault and theft, and they provided details about the stolen items. The suspects are currently in police custody and will be referred to the Public Prosecution pending further legal procedures.

Case of an adulterous wife forbidden to see her girls

KUWAIT CITY, May 29: The Misdemeanor Court acquitted a Kuwaiti citizen of preventing his exwife, who was convicted of adultery, from seeing her minor daughters and the court declared her guilty of endangering their lives, causing them psychological harm and neglecting them. Attorney Zaid Al-Khabbaz, who appeared with the citizen in court, requested his client’s acquittal.

His client denied the accusation, clarifying that his client prevented the complainant from seeing his children because she was accused of adultery, which she had admitted. He also stated that he feared for his daughters’ safety due to the behavior of the complainant. The court confirmed in its reasoning that the citizen did not prevent his daughters from seeing their mother due to his own whims, but rather out of fear that they would follow their mother’s shameful and ugly behavior.

The court stated that the Child Protection Office report included numerous expressions from which the court inferred the girls’ hatred and loathing for their mother who was setting a bad example for her daughters. The court feared that if the accused was punished, the complainant would be able to see the girls; something that should not happen in light of her shameful and ugly behavior, from which the girls should be kept safe.
