KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: Ahmadi security personnel carried out a raid on a liquor factory in Fahaheel, which was reportedly operated by a Nepali woman. During the operation, several Indian expatriates were also arrested for distributing alcohol in the Abu Halifa area, authorities confirmed.

During departure procedures for a vehicle driven by a Saudi national, a customs inspector grew suspicious due to the driver’s record of a previous violation at another port. Acting on this suspicion, inspectors carried out a meticulous search of the vehicle. The inspection uncovered 35 cartons of cigarettes hidden within the car’s interior, packed in a professional manner that made detection difficult.
