KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Six expatriates have been referred to the Deportation Center after being caught inside a restaurant in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh that had been officially closed by the Kuwait Fire Force. Officers from the Residency Affairs Investigations Department arrested individuals following a report that the restaurant had been illegally reopened.
According to the source, the individuals claimed they entered through a rear door, which did not display a violation closure sticker, to retrieve food and prevent spoilage. However, authorities emphasized that entering any premises under administrative closure, regardless of the access point, is a legal violation.
A spokesperson from the Fire Force confirmed that any attempt to bypass a sealed restaurant for violating rules, including entering through alternate doors, is strictly prohibited. Expatriates found guilty of such violations face immediate deportation, while Kuwaiti citizens involved are referred to the judiciary for prosecution.
