KUWAIT CITY, June 2: Acting Chief of the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al-Qahtani, conducted a field inspection on Monday at the site of a fire that broke out in a residential building in the Riggae area on Sunday morning. He was accompanied by Acting Deputy Chief of the Firefighting Sector, Brigadier General Omar Abdulaziz Hamad, along with several senior officials from the Fire Force.
During the site visit, Brigadier General Al-Qahtani was briefed on the incident’s circumstances and emphasized the critical importance of complying with established safety and fire prevention regulations. He cautioned property owners against overcrowding residential buildings. He warned of the severe risks posed by obstructed entrances or locked rooftop doors, which can hinder evacuation efforts and jeopardize lives during emergencies.
