KUWAIT CITY, July 28: The Criminal Court on Monday sentenced a citizen to 15 years in prison with hard labor, after he was convicted in a State security case for joining a banned group. The court confirmed that the accused has been proven to have participated in activities that conflicted with internal security, and that he has links with a banned group (a violation of public security laws). The security authorities referred the accused to the Public Prosecution after monitoring his movements and communication with members of the banned group. Based on investigations conducted by the detectives, the accused was referred to the prosecution, which charged him with the aforementioned offenses and referred him to the judiciary
