KUWAIT CITY, Aug 1: The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced that its inspection teams have seized several fishing vessels found using trawling methods within Kuwait’s territorial waters—a clear violation of Resolution No. 1094/2024, which governs fishing seasons.
The Authority confirmed that legal action was immediately taken against the violators. It emphasized the importance of complying with seasonal fishing regulations to ensure the sustainability of fish stocks and the protection of marine resources.
