Kuwait Municipality Cracks Down on Abandoned Vehicles and Illegal Vendors

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality reported that a recent inspection tour conducted by the Public Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department in Ahmadi Governorate led to significant cleanup efforts. The operation resulted in:

 – Removal of 12 abandoned and scrap vehicles

 – Clearance of 357 tons of waste

 – Relocation of unauthorized street butchers (unskilled labor)

The campaign targeted multiple areas across the governorate as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public hygiene, ensure road safety, and regulate street vending activities.
