KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing encroachments on state property, announcing a comprehensive field plan in coordination with relevant authorities to remove violations in the Taima and Sulaibiya areas.
The municipality emphasized that it will not hesitate to enforce the rule of law to safeguard public lands. Municipality Spokesperson and Director of Public Relations Mohammad Al-Sindan stated on Thursday that an extensive campaign is set to be launched following prior warnings issued to violators who have unlawfully exploited state land, obstructed public services, and posed security concerns.

He explained that the intensified inspection drive is being carried out by the municipality’s encroachment monitoring teams in collaboration with various government entities, including the Ministry of Interior’s Environment Police and the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy. Al-Sindan urged the public to cooperate with field teams as they work to eliminate all forms of encroachments, ensuring compliance with the law, preserving state lands, and upholding the public interest. — KUNA
