ABK Participates in Derasati Exhibition

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 12: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced its participation in the Derasti exhibition, a platform ‎that brings together students, experts, and educational service providers, with the aim of ‎enhancing educational and professional opportunities.‎

Held from 7 to 10April 2025, the Derasti exhibition brought together a select group of ‎universities, educational institutions, and financial organizations under one roof to guide and ‎support high school students in exploring their future university paths and financial planning ‎needs. It also helped them make informed decisions regarding their academic and financial ‎futures.‎

ABK participated in the event by showcasing its banking solutions specifically designed for ‎youth, providing services that meet their needs and support them on various levels. ‎

On this occasion, Johair Marafi, General Manager of Retail Banking at ABK, stated, “We ‎continue to invest in educational and youth initiatives as part of our comprehensive strategy to ‎support the community and contribute to the development of future leaders in Kuwait.”‎

She noted that education and students hold significant importance for ABK, which is keen to ‎offer numerous banking products and services, discounts, and exclusive offers in collaboration ‎with partners across various sectors within Kuwait. ‎

Marafi explained that ABK offers students the A+ Student account, which provides many ‎exclusive benefits, including a 30% discount through the Talabat app during weekends, a ‎prepaid card free for one year, along with various special offers and discounts in collaboration ‎with numerous stores in Kuwait.‎

Marafi emphasized at the end of her statement ABK’s pride in the great trust it enjoys among ‎students, and the close relationship it has with many universities in Kuwait. She highlighted the ‎importance of joint cooperation among all parties to achieve desired goals, advance the ‎educational sector in Kuwait, and meet stakeholders’needs of all.‎
