Kuwait’s Ambassador to India presents credentials as non-resident envoy to Nepal

KATHMANDU: Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Mishal Al-Shamali presented on Wednesday his credentials to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel as non-resident ambassador to Nepal.

Kuwait’s Embassy in New Delhi said in a statement that Ambassador Al-Shamali conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and their sincere wishes for his health and well-being, and for continued prosperity and progress for his country.

Al-Shamali expressed Kuwait’s joy in maintaining strong relationships with Nepal and its desire to further develop and strengthen the ties to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of both the countries.

During the credential presentation ceremony, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen cooperation across various sectors were discussed, with the Kuwaiti ambassador expressing his happiness in the trust bestowed upon him for representing the State of Kuwait in Nepal.

On his part, the Nepalese President conveyed his best regards to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait and His Highness the Crown Prince and expressed satisfaction in maintaining strong relations between Kuwait and Nepal.He also praised the Kuwaiti government’s care for Nepalese residents in Kuwait and its efforts to facilitate their living conditions.

He expressed keenness to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to serve common interests. The credential presentation ceremony, held at the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu, was attended by senior leaders and officials from the Nepalese government. – KUNA
