Amir honors outstanding students | Kuwait Times Newspaper

KUWAIT: HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday sponsored and attended the honoring ceremony of excelling students at Kuwait University for the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic years at Sabah Al-Salem University City. The ceremony was attended by HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation Dr Adel Bouresli, Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah and senior sheikhs and officials.

HH the Amir arrived at the venue of the ceremony in a motorcade to a warm welcome by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Nader Al-Jallal, Kuwait University Director Dr Dina Al-Mailam and the organizers of the event. Dr Al-Jallal expressed gratitude to HH the Amir and HH the Crown Prince for their continued support of education and praised the role of Kuwait University in nurturing future leaders through a commitment to quality education, innovation and alignment with the needs of the digital economy.

Dr Al-Mailam highlighted the university’s achievements, including the launch of advanced academic programs, support for students with disabilities and the establishment of the Kuwait National Center for Space Research. She emphasized the institution’s role in promoting a knowledge-based society and noted the graduation of 352 outstanding students across undergraduate and graduate levels.

Outstanding graduate Adhwa Al-Jadai delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of her peers, thanking HH the Amir for his presence and support. She dedicated the graduates’ success to their professors and families and pledged to serve the country with dedication and pride. At the conclusion of the ceremony, HH the Amir honored the top graduates and received a commemorative gift. — KUNA
