KUWAIT CITY, May 12: As part of ongoing security efforts to apprehend Residency and Labor Law violators, the General Department of Residency Affairs Investigations conducted intensive security campaigns across all governorates. These operations, carried out in cooperation with the relevant authorities, took place between April 30 and May 9, 2025.

440 individuals were arrested for violating Residency and Labor regulations during the campaign.

These efforts are part of a comprehensive security strategy aimed at identifying illegal workers, monitoring the status of undocumented residents, curbing residency-related violations, and enforcing the laws and regulations governing employment and residency in the country.

Legal action has been initiated against the arrested individuals, who have been referred to the appropriate authorities for further proceedings.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such security campaigns are ongoing throughout all regions of Kuwait. It reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing the law and stated that accountability will apply equally to workers and employers found in violation, without exception.
