KUWAIT: HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday received at Bayan Palace HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah following his official visits to the United Kingdom and the United States, where he had chaired Kuwait’s delegation that participated in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Meanwhile, HH the Amir received on Tuesday a phone call from Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq, who discussed with him matters pertaining to bilateral relations. HH the Amir and the Sultan also discussed issues of regional and international importance, exchanging their views on them. HH the Amir thanked the Sultan of Oman for his call, reflecting on the strong ties linking the two GCC nations. — KUNA
