KUWAIT: The Kuwait Municipality’s new application, Baladia 139, allows direct communication with the public, enabling officials to respond to complaints and resolve issues efficiently, a municipal spokesperson said on Sunday. Speaking to KUNA, Mohammad Al-Sandan, Director of Public Relations at the Kuwait Municipality, explained that the app aims to streamline municipal services and accelerate transactions.
Complaints regarding violations are addressed within four to 72 hours, depending on their severity. The process has been simplified, allowing users to submit complaints by uploading photos of the violation along with its location through the application. Municipal teams are dispatched to handle reported issues, and users receive notifications, including photos confirming the resolution of the complaint or violation.
The app also monitors the performance of municipal inspectors, executives, and staff in managing complaints. Officials can track the efficiency of municipal teams in real-time and receive monthly performance data. Al-Sandan added that the Municipality will continue updating the application to prevent malfunctions and enhance public service delivery. — KUNA
