LONDON: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah visited the Kuwait Investment Office (KIO) in London on Monday, where he was received by Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) and Abdulmohsen Al-Mukhaizeem, CEO of KIO. During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the office’s history, its global investment portfolio, and its pivotal role in supporting Kuwait’s national economy and diversifying sources of income. The Crown Prince also reviewed the achievements made in developing investment tools and adopting best international practices in the sector.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince also met with Prince William, the Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle. During the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom. Discussions focused on the distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and the United Kingdom and explored ways to further strengthen them in the interest of both countries and peoples. — KUNA
