KUWAIT: Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) carried out an inspection campaign on Tuesday in Al-Ardiya Industrial Area, resulting in the administrative closure of 33 shops and facilities for violating safety regulations. The campaign was supervised by Acting Deputy Chief of the Fire Service for Civil Protection Brigadier Omar Bouresli. Speaking to KUNA, Brigadier Boursali said the initiative follows the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to increase inspection campaigns in line with the national responsibility to safeguard lives, property, and community security.

He added that the KFF continues its daily inspection efforts across all areas of the country to monitor violations and ensure compliance with fire safety standards, including improper storage, unlicensed operations, and neglected equipment lacking proper maintenance. Brigadier Boursali explained that firefighting teams have been closely monitoring buildings and facilities that fail to meet fire safety requirements since the start of the campaign, implementing the approved standards. He urged institutions and property owners to fully adhere to safety regulations and cooperate with inspection teams to avoid closures or legal measures, emphasizing that the primary objective is to protect lives, safeguard property, and maintain a safe environment for all. — KUNA
