KUWAIT CITY, Sept. 30: In a sweeping crackdown aimed at bolstering road safety and curbing dangerous driving behaviors, the General Directorate of Traffic — through the Traffic Investigation and Security Control Department — has intensified field campaigns across the country, leading to dozens of vehicles being seized and violators apprehended.
The latest efforts, part of an ongoing nationwide campaign, resulted in the issuance of 214 various traffic violations, the impounding of 21 vehicles and 11 motorcycles, and the referral of 10 individuals to custodial detention. Additionally, 12 juveniles were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution, and one vehicle was seized under judicial order.
These operations underscore the Ministry of Interior’s firm commitment to safeguarding lives and property on Kuwaiti roads. Authorities reaffirmed that violations will not be tolerated and pledged to take all necessary legal measures against offenders.
